Plot.

Gana, a former Major in the Indian Army, decides to take matters into his own hands after witnessing the flaws in the legal system. He becomes a vigilante, seeking justice against corrupt individuals who have escaped punishment. Gana's paternal uncle, Sripathi, supports his cause, while his father, Umapathi, disapproves of his aimless pursuit.

On a fateful day, Gana is sent to a neighboring village to meet Mahalakshmi Jaanu, a potential bride arranged by his father's friend, Jaya Prakash, a former IAS officer. However, Gana encounters Hansitha Reddy, a local MLA, and falls in love with her. To avoid confrontations, Gana fabricates a story for his father, claiming that Jaanu rejected him due to his involvement in fights.

Meanwhile, Vairam Dhanush, the son of Chief Minister Reddy, commits a heinous act by killing a farmer who refused to relinquish his land documents. A businessman named Veerendra seeks Dhanush's help after assaulting and killing a girl. The girl's grieving parents approach Hansitha for assistance and file a petition in court. However, due to Dhanush's influence, lack of evidence, and humiliation faced during the trial, the girl's parents tragically take their own lives.

Enraged by this injustice, Gana brutally attacks Dhanush's lawyer and inflicts severe harm on Veerendra, provoking Dhanush's relentless pursuit of the unknown assailant. Learning about Gana's actions, Hansitha develops feelings for him and makes a promise to marry him on the condition that he vows, in the presence of God, to abstain from violence.

As Gana prepares to take the solemn oath at the temple, Jaanu appears, badly injured and fleeing from Dhanush's henchmen who seek to end her life. Gana defends her against their attacks, instilling courage within her. At Gana's home, Jaanu reveals that she never rejected him. Gana had saved her from Obul Reddy, who works for Dhanush, during his visit to Jaanu's village. However, Gana declined the marriage proposal. Jaanu narrates the events leading to Dhanush's attempts to blackmail Jaya Prakash, who had been safeguarding farmers against forced land acquisition for oil pipelines. Dhanush's fury culminated in the murder of innocent farmers, but Jaanu intervened and confronted him, earning his wrath.

Dhanush eventually kills Jaya Prakash and targets Jaanu, who manages to escape and embarks on a perilous journey to find Gana. Determined to resolve her troubles, Gana infiltrates Dhanush's residence, engaging in a fierce battle with his henchmen and attempting to burn Dhanush alive. However, Dhanush manages to escape. When questioned about the attack, Gana claims that it was the work of unidentified assailants. Eventually, Obul Reddy reveals the truth about Dhanush's atrocities in the village, triggering widespread outrage in the media.

Dhanush arrives at the office of DGP Ranjit to surrender, but instead, he shoots Ranjit and targets Umapathi. Sripathi heroically takes the bullet meant for Umapathi and is left severely wounded.
